About

I am Chance Orrick, a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certified golf Instructor and fitness coach located in The Greater Nashville area. I am a passionate golfer with eight years of competitive play experience and two years of experience with golf instruction. I also have five years of experience in strength training, which has helped shape my golf performance.  

My golf journey began when I was about six years old when my father had some men's clubs cut down and re-griped for my brother and me. I loved the game from the day I started, trying to hit it farther and farther every day and attempting to score lower and lower every round. My first golf tournament was the summer before my first year of high school. I continued to play throughout my four years, having two first-place low-round finishes and becoming a state qualifier. I realized in my everyday play that two main obstacles were standing in the way of me hitting harder and further: my small size and lack of flexibility. I was thin. I knew I needed to gain strength and increase my mobility to play next-level golf.  

After high school, I continued my golf and fitness journey until I broke multiple bones in my foot at age 22.  It took 16 long weeks to recover, including numerous hours of physical therapy. During my physical therapy, I gained knowledge of human anatomy and advanced mobility training to help correct fitness imbalances in the body. This new knowledge allowed me to train in more ways than ever before, and with this combination, I gained 50 lbs. of muscle mass and increased my flexibility.  This transformation changed my golf game incredibly and inspired me to help others achieve their goals.  

 

Our goal at Golflete is simple: we want to inspire and teach individuals to achieve physical and mental greatness on and off the course. There are many different ways to swing a golf club efficiently. Every person is different, and each body has other limitations. Therefore, a golf swing cannot be "one size fits all." We focus on making your golf game as efficient as possible through strength training, mobility, swing training, and making practice fun. Our proven screening process allows us to identify the issues and weaknesses while measuring progress. It takes hard work, dedication, and trusting the plan to see results; however, with our tailored instruction and attention to detail, we help make this training convenient and fun for all individuals!

Chance is an amazing coach and trainer. I had broken my femur through my knee when I was 18. Since then, I have always had an imbalance which is really problematic in my golf swing. Chance tailor fit a routines to work on my strength and balance. He constantly checked in and made sure that my knees were feeling up to the challenge. I have been following his instructions for over 6 months and I cant believe the difference in my strength and flexibility. I have done other knee specific workouts like ATG, but Chance really tunes the workouts based on your goals and abilities. I can't recommend this program more. What is the screening process and why do we use it?

Our screening process is separated into three key categories: mobility, strength, and power. These categories comprise 25 movements that help us identify any limitations or weaknesses in your body. This information is crucial in understanding the way you swing your golf club. Each person's limitations and weaknesses are unique, we tailor our approach to address these issues in the most effective way possible. Depending on the situation, we may have to work around issues or find ways to resolve them. Whether we're mobilizing a joint to alleviate pain or strengthening a muscle to provide more stability, our goal is to provide you with the best possible insight and information to help you play better golf, for longer, and without pain. Our ultimate goal is to help athletes achieve physical and mental greatness on and off the golf course.
